"It's great, I'm very proud. I can't wait to get back to my team."

Anna Maria Renken is less than 100 miles from the finish. She is expected in New York this Monday evening.
"I'm going in the right direction and at the right speed. I watch the miles go by. I make myself an Earl Grey with my last few centilitres of water. I dedicate it to Miranda Merron. It's the black tea Mirranda drinks all the time and, as I was her préparatrice, it's a little dedication. We're running a bit low on water as we're limited and hadn't planned to spend 21 days at sea. I've only got one liter and 10 cans of Red Bull left.
I'm still having problems with my leg. I'm taking some heavy stuff and I think I'm going a bit crazy with the finish! I cried this morning thinking about what I'd done. It's just enormous. Something I'd tell my granddaughters. It's great, I'm so proud. I can't wait to get back to my team. We're going to start getting back to civilization. There's going to be more traffic, but I'll be on my toes."
